Mercedes S-Class Cabriolet 2018 price and specs have been revealed.
It features a modest and subtle facelift with a few tweaks to the front apron and side sills.
Prices for the new car start at £115,910 for the S 560 AMG Line, with the Mercedes-AMG S 63 available from £140,610 and the AMG S 65 costing £197,510.
Power
the S 560 Cabriolet is a 4.0-litre Biturbo V8 petrol which is paired to a nine-spee d automatic gearbox.
The Engine
produces 469 hp and 700 Nm of torque can accelerate from standstill to 62mph in 4.2seconds on to an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
Moving up the S-Class range to the AMG S63 wills till be powered by a hand-built AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine generating 612 hp and 900 Nm, paired to the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G-Tronic nine-speed gearbox.
At the top of the range is the S 65 which uses a hand-built 6.0-liter V12 petrol engine which has an output of 630 hp and 1000 Nm.
The S 63 can travel from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds, while the S 65 takes just 4.1 seconds and both cars are electronically limited to a top speed of 155 mph.
All versions of the car come with an electric soft-top which folds electrically within 20 seconds.
For the S 560, only AMG Line trim is available.
This trim includes Aircap; Airscarf; wireless phone charging; Airmatic air suspension; Comand Online, including 12.3-inch dual-bonded widescreen cockpit and infotainment display; Magic Vision Control wiper system; Intelligent Light system; Airscarf; Keyless-Go Comfort package, including remote boot opening; Memory package, including electrically adjustable seats and steering wheel; ambient lighting with a choice of 64 colors; ventilated seats; Burmester surround sound system; Android Auto and Apple CarPlay; and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Moving up the trim levels drivers get more comfort and safety options which adds driver assistance systems such as Active Steering Assist, Active Speed Limit Assist, and Active Braking Assist and more.
The Coupe version of the S-Class goes on sale at the same time with prices starting at £104,115 for the S 560 up to £189,615 for the AMG S63.
